I am based in Basel and have been working in the harm reduction field since 2016. I started out in the drug consumption rooms and realised soon that I wanted to stay in this field. After my studies in social work in 2018 I got the opportunity to work as an addiction counsellor which led me to take on the management for a pilot project offering stationary Drug Checking. I am also co-leading Safer Dance Basel a project providing free drug checking services at parties or at festivals since 2016. Together with our peers from SubsDance we focus on the recreational drug use in and around Basel.
